Theatr Fforwm Cymru can offer a wide range of workshops and tailor-made projects, as well as our 'off the shelf' packages such as Rehearsal for Reality. The following are just a few examples to set you thinking - the basic principle of ThffC's work is that we are responsive to the needs of the commissioning organisation, and will work with you to develop workshops to suit your needs.
In the past year, some of the workshops and projects ThFfC has been involved with include:
Training Eastern European youth workers in forum theatre techniques, which they have used in projects including work with child prostitution and human trafficking
Two-day workshop within an NHS unit for adults with autism and Asperger's Syndrome plus the staff team
Ongoing weekly workshops with young people at risk of self-harm in Cardiff, which has led to powerful performances, including one at a conference for nurses working in this field
Evaluation project for trans-national youth exchange
Community regeneration work in the South Wales Valleys, using theatre as a focus for community development
Three day peer education workshops for sixth formers in a Ceredigion School
Half-day workshop for organisations involved with encouraging entrepeneurship throughout Europe
Youth exchanges with Ireland and Portugal
Drugs awareness and 'transition to secondary school' workshops for primary school children in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire (sponsored by the Rotary Club)
