A highlight of 2009 for Theatr fforwm Cymru has been delivering 4 training programmes in Wales for UNESCO Cymru. The training focused on developing emotional intelligence and the relationship between this and risky behaviour amongst young people, with specific reference to sexual behaviour and HIV and AIDS.

75 youth workers participated in the training and the evaluation was very gratifying
as the following example shows:

"To be honest I'm still glowing from our training session. Without any doubt it was possibly one of the best events I have ever attended - I only wish I had ability to truly describe how amazing it was (the written word is not my speciality ). But I will give it a go. The training was for me life changing and comforting to get straight to the point. Mindfulness is something more people should be introduced to. Forum theatre is a truly engaged method by which young people, actually all people, can understand and not just learn."
